The Club is enjoying a productive season with the team winning more games than it has lost. Numbers have been low as we struggle to replace those hanging up there boots and keep the youngsters who want to play every week where we only run out sometimes only once a month. As a temporary measure the team has merged with Kempston as they have experienced very similar problems. However a core group of youngsters have emerged who are keen and have contacts so the future for next season is looking better and better.
The Club plans to have an open forum discussion room on its website where new members can show there hand, and anyone interested can have a say, new members can include players, sponsors, followers. Supporters, the Club welcomes new and old faces.
Two fixtures remain this season, the first will have been played before this magazine reached production and is against Rushden with beers back at the 3 Tuns, the second and the fixture with usually the most interest, is on Saturday April 10th at Deep Spinney against the London Japanese, the team is keen to avenge the defeat in Hyde Park earlier in the season. All are welcome for our last game of the season where support we expect will be plentiful and which will be Vice Presidents lunch and all welcome social after with the `Boat Race` and presentations.
